London
In a career spanning 20 years and three countries, Director Gabrielle Wilson has worked with globally-renowned artists in Sydney, London and Paris. She earned her stripes in historic theatres across Britain as Publicity Manager for the English Touring Opera. Her love of the arts was further fuelled as Senior Publicist for The Queen’s House, Royal Observatory and National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.
Paris
After five years in London, Gabrielle crossed the channel to work in Paris. There she joined PR agency Agenda, whose client list included the Tate Modern and V&A Museum, to work on the globally-renowned ‘Communicating the Museum’ event. While in Paris, Gabrielle also wandered the hallowed halls of Le Louvre discussing the world’s greatest masterpieces as a private tour guide for Paris Muse.
Sydney
On returning to Sydney, Gabrielle was appointed PR Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia leading into its $50 million expansion. She later joined leading arts agency [art]iculate and managed media campaigns for The Australia Council for the Arts and the 55th Venice Biennale, Carriageworks, ABC Arts, Art Month and the Powerhouse Museum and assisted on the Biennale of Sydney.
The Press Society
Gabrielle founded The Press Society in 2015 to provide elite publicity support across the arts and creative industries. Her client list includes many of the country’s most prestigious arts organisations: The Australian Ballet, National Gallery of Australia, National Portrait Gallery, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Festival, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Sydney Theatre Company, National Film and Sound Archives and Vivid Ideas 2016 and 2017 promoting 200 events including talks by Oliver Stone and Spike Jonze.
